Right now I have the sort of feeling that I'm swimming along and desperately trying not to fall behind. But that's okay! It's only until Wednesday!
This weekend I cleaned my room, namely the floor and desk. This is what happened:
The contents of my desk... AKA my life.
Back into place!
We also went up to Mauna Kea this weekend, which was freezing but amazingly beautiful. The sunset was pretty, the multiple layers of climates going up the mountain was really interesting, and the stars!!!!
I did get quite woozy up there, which was interesting whenever I wanted to actually look up into the sky... or walk anywhere... but it was worth it. Not sure how often it would be worth it in the future.
But I am really excited to take astronomy next semester!! Thank goodness it's required. I like pretending I'm a science student.
Of course I don't have any pictures at night, but here's the Moon and Venus. Actually, you can't even tell that it's Mauna Kea, but oh well.
Our chorus has started singing Christmas music. Our regular concert is apparently 3 weeks away, after which we will go on to our super intense holiday fun! Or something.
Of course my allergies have decided to kick in, so I can either be professional or be loud, but not both. Thankfully I've gotten permission to just be loud, so I can stop sounding like a mouse that's just been stepped on when class is over. Singing is hard work!
Tomorrow is a Linguistics test and Japanese quiz... we formed a mini study group to practice for our quiz, and it ended up being various forms of Pictionary. We taught our TA how to play too, he thought it was a really good idea! And I won.
I have also resigned myself to either being 'hey-hey-hey-' or Hazelnut.
My major is awesome.
