I seem to be almost over my cold, which is both exciting and slightly worrisome. I've never gotten over something so fast before, ever! Maybe it's compensation for being allergic to the air...
Or maybe it was the magical ginger throat drops that my roommate gave me. I love my roommate.
And today we had our second meeting of Glee club! I am now the secretary, which should be quite fun. (I bet you didn't know Glee had secretaries. Haha!)
We also went over music, and picked out some really awesome arrangements. I'm really excited to try them out!! We have Beach Boys and Beatles and Disney and random jazz... there's also an upcoming performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, but that's something entirely different.
The TV show makes it look so easy. They open their mouths and out comes an overly polished, slightly autotuned bunch of voices, as everyone breaks into spontaneous six-count swing on the spot. We spent our meeting running through the pouring rain from the music library to the theater and back again. It was very glamorous. (I don't like TV, so this is all perfectly fine with me.)
Well, I should go back to studying for my Japanese quiz and finishing my composition. Considering I made up my occupation, I think it's pretty good.
