Not sure if I spelled that right, but as I'm assuming no Mandarin speakers are going to read my blog, I'm okay with that.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I had a fabulous time at home with my family, including my extended family Miki, who was my Nagoya buddy and came to visit me during the break! It was very exciting. And there were lots of goats.
I'm back in Hilo for the first week of my FINAL semester of college! And if that wasn't terrifying enough, I have stuffed it full of classes I hope to enjoy immensely but are rather more numerous than I think I can handle.
Like fiction writing, Semantics, and sitting in on Spanish por practicar mi espanol. Guess how many of those I need to graduate? Hmm...
It would worry me less if I didn't feel exhausted and quite rundown on my second day of classes. I had 5 of them today and then came home and fell asleep. Not a good sign. Hello, Airborne, my good friend. I was lucky enough to escape the wave of sick during the break... or at least, that's what I thought.
Adding to my unhappiness is the fact that my Hawaiian class is going to a taro pounding field trip that I have been looking forward to for a long time, and through no fault of my own and due to what has become a bad decision, I am committed to perform with Swing Club at roughly the same time. Since I am the only remaining President... that means no taro pounding.
Also a missing classmate. Prayers are appreciated. Weird things have been happening in Hilo.
But despite all my complaining, I am quite excited for this semester, and hope to have happier posts and pretty pictures (of rain, most likely) in the near future!
A hui hou!
