It feels like I haven't written anything in forever, but I guess it hasn't been that long! It just feels like forever with everything that's happening...
Case in point: last week. One dance performance including crazy rehearsals, work, more work, tests (~3), opening registration for next semester, academic advising, and college prom. That's right, we had a prom! It may seem silly, but most everyone there knew each other, and it was a lot of fun and silly dancing (and NO alcohol! yess!!) and of course food.
I really wanted to post about things happening, like Merrie Monarch recently and how much I like my tutoring job, but right now I'm just trying to keep my head above water, so to speak.
Right now, however, I am going to see the school's performance of Hairspray, after which I will attempt to finish several research projects and presentation. (Oof.) I had to go see Hairspray, though, because I know half the cast! Including, I just found out, one of my coworkers. There's also a lot of people from Kapili and voice classes in there, as well as my hula teacher. They've been working really hard!
I've come to realize that I actually kind of like Hilo, which was a bit of a shock, but I think the main reason is that it's so small. I can go anywhere and bump into people I know, especially on campus. It's a nice feeling.
