I completed my summer classes with considerably less hair-pulling and crying than I thought, and so far have a B+ in Pidgins and Creoles. I would be kind of disappointed in any other class, but here I'm actually kind of proud, although I did a miserable job on my final and could have gotten at least an A- if I had tried really hard. My other class hasn't been graded yet, it's taking its time which is fine with me!
So now I get to focus on summer things... like playing the piano, reading, cleaning my room, sitting around doing nothing because it's finally gotten hot...
And going to fairs:

This last weekend I went to an event in downtown Sacramento, which itself was pretty exciting:
| Our state Capitol! I haven't been there since elementary school. |
| The view from the 15th floor of the Regency hotel :) |
Next stop: Bakersfield via 5 hour train ride! My last train ride of that length was Russia to Finland with 200 mosquito bites to keep me company. (No, I'm not exaggerating, it was actually 197.) Keeping me fingers crossed for this trip to be better...
I know what you mean! I was pretty happy to get a B+ in Hawaiian despite the fact that I'd normally be disappointed with a grade that low, and that I probably could have done better on the final and gotten a higher grade, but...yeah...
ReplyDeleteYou could try setting the quality or size (or both) of you photos down a bit. Really, you don't need photos more than a megabyte or two in size unless you're planning to make 50-foot high posters out of them.
B+ is not a low grade...well, it sort of is. Way to make me feel like a slacker. =P
ReplyDeleteYeah, I did scale down the quality down a bit. But they look so NICE on super high quality!
ReplyDeleteWell excuse me, miss graduated animal science major! :P
